We all know that a good night's rest helps us stay healthy. After we sleep for 7 or 8 hours in bed and up next morning, our mind is better prepared to memorize and learn something.
But what about getting a rest during the middle of the day?
Scientists say, “Short periods of sleep, napping (小睡), may help learning and memory. Napping can help young children learn better. It can help older people remember longer.”
Take China as an example. Chinese people are used to napping after lunch.
Recently researchers made a survey among nearly 3,000 Chinese people over 65 years old. The researchers asked them they napped and for how long. They found that about 60 percent of them took a nap and they napped for 60 to 90 minutes. The research shows that napping for about an hour is the best.
However, these are the findings for those the age of 65. Doctors say that napping for about an hour may be too for young and healthy people. And they believe that half an hour is enough to young and healthy people from feeling tired. By doing so, will help them stay awake.
Doctors also say, “If you have trouble falling asleep at , take a daytime nap for less than 45 minutes and don't nap after 3 p.m. in the afternoon.

Sometimes when you're a teenager, you feel as if you're all alone and there's you can talk to. Do you know twenty to thirty percent of teenagers in the US have a hard going through the period? They feel lonely and sad. I think life is so much easier if you your troubles with others. I regret that I didn't take the advice when someone gave it to me.

When I was in school, I never thought I'd become a teacher. I acted badly in class, and I feel about that now. I love my job and I know how challenging it is, so I hope kids can show their teachers more respect (尊敬). I hope kids can that teachers push them to do their best and not just to give them a hard time.

Money doesn't grow on trees.
When I was a teenager, I never learned to save money. I just spent it! My parents gave me everything I wanted, but I realize now they spent little themselves. Now I wish I knew more about planning my money, and I am not the only one! It seems that today's teenagers know about money planning even less me years ago. I do wish they could learn about it earlier.
In China, you can travel to all corners of this big country by bus or train. It's surprising what China has done in the past ten (year) in terms of train travel – it now has the (big) high-speed railway network in world. The high-speed trains are great, and a/lɒŋ/ train journey in China is a great way to see the country.
China is a huge, fascinating country with so much to see. A a student, I love traveling my parents, from big cities, to seaside hot spots, to holy mountains, to national parks, to historical sites and to /smɔ:l/ villages far away. (get) out of your comfortable home here to some unknown places is a good experience as well. And you can eat local food, and (real) reach the heart of the country.

This morning I took a bus to school. The traffic was (busy) than usual and there were more people on the bus. At Xinhua Stop, I saw old man get on the bus. He looked very weak. I stood and gave my seat to him. He thanked me and asked me about my name and my school. We talked (happy).
Later in the (three) class, Mr. Du came in and asked me to go to the front. I didn't know w, so I was a little afraid. Everyone was looking at me. Then he told (they) what I did on the bus this morning. He (know) it because he got a phone call from the old man. Mr. Du said I could be a good example to my (classmate). It was really a good day f me! I was so proud.
A husband and wife were driving down a country road on their way to visit some friends. As they came to a muddy (泥泞的) part of the road, their car(break) down.
They tried to get the car out by themselves, but it didn't work. Then they saw a farmer (come) down the road. He was driving some oxen (牛). He stopped when he saw the couple was in trouble. He said he would pull the car out of the mud for $20 (130 yuan). They agreed and minutes (late) the car was free.
The farmer turned to the husband and said, “You know, you're the(ten) car I've helped out of the mud today.”
The husband looked around at the large land and asked the farmer, “When do you have time to plow (犁) all your(field) ?At night?”
“No,” the farmer answered, “I put the water in the hole at night!”
