A Birthday Party
Sarah's birthday is on September 14th. She will have a birthday party in her home. The party will start at 6:00 p. m. We will sing the birthday song for her. She will make a wish. Then we will eat a big birthday cake.

The fourth Thursday of November is American Thanksgiving Day. It's a holiday in the US. Usually, family members and friends get together for a dinner. American Thanks-giving Day began in 1621. When the first English settlers reached the New World in 1620, they did not have enough food. But the American Indians helped the white men and taught them how to farm. The next year, in autumn, they had a good harvest. They were so happy. They thanked Indian friends for their help and thanked God.
