With the help of the Internet, shopping is not a difficult job. Just click your mouse to choose the article(物品) you like, and the shopping is finished. You needn't walk out of the room. It seems easy and quick. But there's always a trap(陷阱) online. If you are careless, it will bring you some trouble(麻烦). You may find the colour of the article is different from what you want, or the size is either too small or too big. If you want to be different, you'd better not buy clothes online. Once you put on the clothes you buy online and go out, you will find many people wear the same clothes in the street.
My dream job
When I grow up, I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm going to move somewhere interesting. Paris(巴黎) sounds like a city that I could enjoy. There are lots of art exhibitions(艺术展) there. I want to be an artist. So how am I going to do it? First, I'm going to find a part-time job for a year or two and save some money. And I'm going to be a student at art school in Paris. And I want to learn French at the same time. Next, I'm going to hold(举办) art exhibitions because I want to be rich and buy a big house for my parents. I also want to travel all over the world. One day, I'm going to retire(退休) somewhere quiet and beautiful.
My name is Pete and I live with my parents and my sister Jenny in New York. I'm twelve years old and Jenny is ten. I'm in Miss Smith's class and Jenny is in Mr Green's. Miss Smith and Mr Green both teach English. Both of them like sports. Sometimes Mr Green plays basketball with Jenny and me because he lives near our home.
I usually ride to school. I think it's a good way to stay healthy. My black bike is a birthday present from my grandparents. They live on a farm. At weekends, I feed the ducks there. They eat vegetables and other food. Some of my classmates ride their bikes to school and some even walk to school. But we'd like to take the school bus when the weather is bad. We are happy to talk with each other on the bus. Henry is my good friend and he often tells us funny stories on the bus.
A. What about going swimming? B. See you. C. Can you play tennis? D. I have no idea. E. Don't worry. |

A:
B: Yes, I can.
A: Let's play tennis, OK?
B: OK. And I can play it very well. I'm good at it.
A: That's a deal(约定). See you.
B:
Everyone sometimes loses things. People often lose things when they are (travel) or when they are in a hurry. That's why there lost and found offices at airports and (station). What can you do when you lose things? Let me (tell) you.
In some big (city), there are some lost and found offices. Some clerks(职工) are working in the offices. When they get new thing, they always check it (careful). They want to find out who its owner(主人) is. They are happy(see) an ID card. There is always the owner's photo address on the ID card, so they can find the owner easily.
When you lose things, first of all, you should think. If you can't do that, just take out (you) mobile phone and wait. Maybe you can get a call.
