Should teenagers help their parents do chores? If you want to be an independent one, or you don't want your parents to be too tired, do chores at home.
I have a classmate called Li Ting. She is the only child in her family. Her parents love her so much that they don't let her do any chores. On weekdays she gets up, has meals, goes to school, has lessons, comes back home, does homework and goes to bed. While on weekends, she only plays with her friends. So she doesn't know how to do chores. One day, her father was badly ill and was in hospital. Her mother had to take care of her father in the hospital and couldn't cook meals for her for a week. Li Ting didn't know how to cook meals. She had a lot of trouble cooking meals and often felt hungry. She only had instant noodles(方便面)for her meals. From the story we know it's important for us to learn to do chores and other skills from now on.
We all have our own ways of showing our life to others. Artists use brushes, musicians use songs and writers use stories. Spencer Johnson's book Who Moved My Cheese? shows changes exist(存在)in our life. Life changes and so do we. We must change ourselves to face the changing life, or we will fail.
Just look at the cycle(循环) of the seasons. Trees bud(发芽) in spring and in summer their leaves turn green. In autumn, their leaves start to fall onto the ground. When winter arrives, there are no leaves on trees. Next spring the cycle begins again. We know there are cycles in nature, so we can prepare for(为……做准备) them. There are cycles in nature, so there are also changes in our life.
We can enjoy the moments when things are going well and get away from the bad ones. We can take the changes in our life as chances(机会). As we keep changing ourselves, we can keep up with the changes in our life.
When traveling with your family or friends(especially on your own),you have to prepare something well. Tips on safety, health and planning will certainly make your trip more enjoyable.

Time is very important in our lives, but it never had any importance in my life until1a watch from my father that made me responsible(负责任的). It2me the importance of time in my life.
I got this gift on a gray-sky day. I had to go to the3at 9:00 a. m. to pick up my uncle Ali and take him to my home. However, I forgot it4I was playing with my friends. Later on that day, around11:00am, I5my uncle, but I was late for him. He had gotten out of the plane and6a taxi to my home.
I got home at 2:00 p. m. 7. My father looked at me angrily. I said "hi" to my father and my8uncle. My father asked me to sit9him and handed me this watch which was a gift from10. It was made of gold. Then he said, "Essa, did you have fun11your friends today? What you did was not very nice and you should be sorry for your12. "I felt sorry and told my father that I wouldn't do it again. Then he said, “This watch will be a reminder(提醒物)for you. I hope you have learnt something13. "
I learnt a lesson from my father:to respect(尊重)time and14be late. The watch is important to me, not because of its15, but because of the lesson that I learnt from it.
