Henry works in a factory. He comes from a poor1and was in school for only four years. He has to work hard to support（供养）the family. He likes to watch2matches very much and spends3time on it.
One evening there was a big football match on a playground. He borrowed some money4his friend and hurried there. There were already a lot of people there. And all the5were sold out. He was6for it. He saw a pole（电线杆）outside the playground and climbed it up7, A policeman came and said. "It's 8to stay on it! Come down!"
"Wait a minute, please!" Henry said. Just at that moment the9heard cheers in the playground and asked in a hurry, "Which team has scored a goal?"
"10team!"
"Wonderful! You can11there. But take care!" the policeman said happily and left. Just12 the match was over, he came back again and asked, "Who's won?"
"Theirs, 3 to 2."
"Come down, "the policeman said angrily." Such a13isn't worth（值得）watching!"
Henry had to come14. But soon they heard cheers again. "Climb up quickly and15who's scored a goal again!" said the policeman in a hurry.
In 1933 an unknown American called Clarence Nash went to see the filmmaker Walt Disney. He had an unusual voice and he wanted to work on Disney's cartoon (动画片) film for children. When Walt Disney heard Nash's voice, he said “Stop! That's our duck!”
The duck was the now famous Donald Duck, who first appeared in 1934 in the film The Wise Little Hen. Donald lived in an old houseboat (水上住家) and wore his sailor jacket and hat. Later that year, he became a star after an eight-minute Mickey Mouse film. The cinema audience liked him because he was lazy and greedy (贪婪的), and because he lost his temper (发脾气) very quickly. And they loved his voice when he became angry with Mickey's eight nephews (侄子). Soon Donald was more popular than Mickey Mouse himself, probably because he wasn't a goody-goody like Mickey.
In the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, Donald and his friends Mickey, Goofy and Pluto made hundreds of Disney cartoons. He also made educational films about the place of the USA in the world, and safety in the home. Then in 1966, Donald Duck and his voice disappeared — there were no more new cartoons.
Clarence Nash died in February, 1985.But today's children can still see the old cartoons on television and hear that famous voice.

It is the year 2050 now. Tom and I want to （参观）Mars. It is a （行星）far away from ours-the earth.
Our （宇宙飞船）fly for two weeks to get to Mars. When we （到达），we open the door of the spaceship and look out. The （天气）there is sunny and hot. We see an alien（外星人） （在……后面）a tree. He is very tall and big and has （棕色的）hair. "Help me!" shout the alien. Then we see some monsters（怪兽）running after （另一个）alien from the house near a tree. They want to kill him. So we have to run away（迅速地）！We both move to the spaceship and jump in. We also take the alien into our spaceship and （救）him. What an exciting day！
The Earth is a planet. It and seven other planets go the Sun. We (call)the eight planets and the Sun the solar system. first planet, next to the Sun, is Mercury(水星). It is 58 million (kilometer)from the Sun. Venus(金星)is the second planet from the Sun, and (we)planet, the Earth, is the third. It is 150 million kilometers from the Sun.
Jupiter(木星), Saturn(土星), Neptune(海王星)and Uranus(天王星)are all (big)than the Earth, Venus, Mars and Mercury are smaller than the Earth.

After this meeting, . At last, I had such a chance to go on such a holiday with some of my schoolmates last month. We went to London, a place where I had wanted to go since years ago.
After we got to London, we went to stay with different families. I was lucky that my host family（寄宿家庭）was a white couple who had a daughter about my age. . They were interested in me and I learnt a lot of things from then on.
. After breakfast, a local teacher would come to take us in his car. Then we would have classes or go on a sight-seeing trip to different places of interest like Big Ben, London Bridge, and Buckingham Palace. We would go back to our own homes after the activities.
The holiday was a valuable experience for me. I enjoyed every minute of it. . Three weeks later, we had to leave "home" for Hong Kong.
