In 1906, another climber saw more than footprints. Far off, he saw a very large animal standing on two legs. As he watched, it ran very .
Fifteen years later, newspaper had new stories about the "something". A mountain climber said he had seen the "" walk slowly across the snow, far below him. He said it looked like a very large man.
From then on, more and more people had stories to tell. But not until 1951 did a mountain climber bring back of large footprints. "The pictures showed clearly the Snowman walked on two legs." So it was not a bear or a monkey. Could it be an ape man? The mystery grew! And the mystery keeps growing. Some day we may what it is that makes the large footprints.

Lost Underground is a story about four school children who went on a trip to some caves. These caves were very large and people could go into them only with a guide. However, four children decided to explore on their own. They went in the caves with a group, but left the group and walked down the tunnel. They thought it would be fun to explore the cave alone.
Soon they came to a hole in the wall. They climbed through the hole into another part of the cave. Then they decided to turn back, but they could not remember the way. They were lost in the caves. When the guide led the other children out of the caves, he counted them. He discovered that there were four children missing. He had to go back into the caves to try to find the missing children.
The children who were lost moved deeper into the caves. The deeper they went, the more lost they became. They were frightened. They started shouting for help, but the guide didn't hear them. How dangerous!
Soon they came to an underground river. They guessed that the river must flow out of the caves. The water was very cold and deep, but the children kept on swimming. For a long time, they swam in darkness, then they saw a light ahead of them. The river was flowing out of the caves into a big river and the children were able to leave the caves. They climbed out of the river onto the riverbank. They saw the bus with the other children in the distance.

If a man has a good appetite (胃口), it is thought that he is healthy. When we hear a boy saying, "I'm a hungry as a bear." We are quite sure that he is well.
It is a good sign to feel hungry in fact. The body rings the bell to tell us that it needs food.
If a boy did not eat, he would grow t and weaker day by day until he was unable even to walk and at last, he would stop living entirely (完全地). That is what happens when people starve (挨饿) to death.
You should know the following things about eating.
Firstly, you should eat e leafy vegetables and some fruit every day and have g of water among meals during the day. They can provide the energy we need and they are really helpful for us to grow.
S , you should eat three meals a day and be regular. Don't eat between meals. And eat slowly and chew the food until it is soft. Chewing carefully is really good for your stomach. Never d water or milk in the middle of chewing.
At last, you should stop eating food w you don't feel hungry. If you eat too much, it is truly not good for your health.
When Paul was a boy growing up in Utah, he happened to live near a copper smelter, and the chemicals that poured out had made a wasteland out of what used to be a beautiful forest. One day a young visitor looked at this wasteland and called it an awful area. Paul knocked him down. From then on, something happened inside him.
Years later, Paul was back in the area, and he went to the smelter office. He asked if they had any plans or if they would let him try to bring the trees back. The answer from that big industry was "No".
Paul then went to college to study the science of plants. He told the teacher about his plans. Unfortunately his teacher says, "It will be a waste of your time to try to do it." Everyone knew that, he was told. Even if he was knowledgeable as he had expected, he wouldn't get his idea accepted.
Paul later got married and had some kids. But this dream would not die. And then one night he did what he could with what he had. Under the cover of darkness, he went to secretly into the wasteland and started planting.
Every week, he made his secret journey into the wasteland and planted trees and grass. For fifteen years he did this against the common sense. Slowly rabbits appeared. Later the company actually hired Paul to do what he was already doing.
Now the place is covered with fourteen thousand acres of trees and grass and bushes, and Paul has received almost every environmental award Utah has. It took him so many years until his hair turned white, but he managed to keep that impossible promise he made to himself as a child.
