A giraffe can live 20~25 years in the wild, and often longer at zoos. An adult(成年的) giraffe eats up to 63 kilograms of food each day. A giraffe spends most of a day eating and it gets just a few leaves once. It eats leaves on the tall trees, tall bushes and grass. But its favourite food is the leaves on the acacia trees(金合欢树). Acacia leaves contain a lot of water, so a giraffe can eat for a long time without drinking.
Jimmy is a very kind young man. He works in a big supermarket. His workmates like him very much. Last month Jimmy caught a bad cold, and he stayed in bed for about two weeks. But after he got well, something happened-he couldn't stop winking(眨眼) . When he stayed at home, he was all right as usual. But if he went out, he couldn't stop his eyes from winking.

Beijing Opera is also called Peking Opera. It came into being after 1790 when the four famous Anhui opera troupes(戏班) came to Beijing. There are four main roles in Beijing Opera:Sheng, Dan, Jing and Chou. Sheng is the leading male role. For example, a Wusheng is a soldier or a fighter. A Xiaosheng is a young man. A Laosheng is an old man. Dan is the leading female role. Jing, mostly male, is the face-painted role and Chou is the comedy actor or the clown.
Stories in Beijing Opera are very interesting. Some of them are from history books, but most of them are from the literature, especially some famous novels. The people in the story usually have some disagreements. They become angry and unhappy. They are sad and lonely. Sometimes they are nervous and worried. Then they find a way to make peace. The stories usually end with happiness and laughter and people are all happy in the end.
Amsterdam is the most bicycle-friendly capital in the world. Biking is a fun and an easy way of getting around Amsterdam. Students go to school by bicycle. People ride their bicycles to work.
