Healthy eating doesn't just mean what you eat, but how you eat. Here is some advice on healthy eating.
Eat with others. It can help you to see others' healthy eating habits. If you usually eat with your parents, you will find that the food you eat is more delicious.
Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry. Have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty-- sometimes you are just thirsty, you need no food. Stop eating before you feel full.
Eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After you don't eat for the past ten hours, your body needs food to get you going. You will be smarter after eating breakfast.
Eat healthy snacks like fruits, yogurt or cheese. We all need snacks sometimes. In fact, it's a good idea to eat two healthy snacks between your three meals. This doesn't mean that you can eat a bag of chips instead of a meal.
Don't eat dinner late. With our busy life, we always put off eating dinner until the last minute. Try to eat dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. This will give your body a chance to digest most of the food before you rest f6r the next 8—10 hours.
⑴Jack plans to create a cooking club at school. He wants to know how much it will cos ⑵Sam cares about the environment very much. But he doesn't know how to start an Environmental club in school. ⑶Creating a swimming club is Mike's dream. However, he isn't sure whether his school can help to build a pool. ⑷Sue is thinking of starting an English club. But she worries about theme and the place they can meet. ⑸Lucy expects to start a club about poetry because she knows that lots of kids love poetry. But she is wondering how to get people to join. | A. Setting up an English club is one of the things we are going to do this term. So do it right now. Let's see how many people will join and then decide where and when to meet B. You must know that pools are expensive to build, and they usually take several years to complete. So I think it's a good idea to get the swimmers to a nearby pool. C. Reading poems can be very fun. You can first ask your classmates to join, and then they will invite their own friends to join it. D. Your plan sounds like a good one. As for the cost, you can ask your mother for some advice. She must know a lot about cooking. E. First you should think about your interest. If you like playing games, a gaming club will be a good idea. If you are a swimming fan, it is great to start a swimming club. F. I think it is a good idea to set up a club like that! You can first give speeches about protecting the environment at school. G. A club can influence people a lot even if it has only a few members, so I wouldn't worry too much about it being small. |
Last winter holiday, I visited a village with only 11 houses. the village was very small, I spent a whole day in it.
The village became popular because Grandpa Huang's hard work. He bought a house there over 30 years , but in 2010 the village was to be pulled down. In order to save the old village, Grandpa Huang painted on the walls of own house and other houses. He painted things that he liked. In the village, there were many paintings of , such as cats and birds. The most popular paintings for visitors were of famous people. One of them was a picture of Andy. He and my singer. I liked him so much that I asked a visitor to a photo of that painting and me. On the ground of the village, Grandpa Huang has painted lot of well-known Chinese sayings. From them, Grandpa Huang learned to live a long and happy .
I really had a good time in the village wished to visit it again.
Well, it doesn't seem long since we welcomed you to the school on the first day your junior high school careers(生涯)! And here it is time for us, sadly, to say goodbye. Since you came here, you have all grown and changed in many ways.
You are ready now, to face the challenges of the world of senior high. Remember to work hard, just as you have in this school, because in just a few short years you will be ready to think about the future outside school--university, jobs and adult life. Remember, as you grow up, you are going to learn how to make the right decisions for yourself and how to make the best of the exciting chances you have in front of you.
In this school you have all lived daily with people from a different of backgrounds(背景). What have you learn from others? Hopefully patience, an interest in other cultures, the ability to accept people's differences and celebrate these differences.
Most of you will travel in the future, or perhaps study and work in different countries when you are older. The experiences you get from different people at school will be very valuable to you.
Above all, remember, you may make some mistakes, but don't worry. The only bad mistake is one we do not learn from. The senior high courses will be a new beginning and also hard work. But I hope you will all enjoy it very much and come back and see us sometime soon.
I wish you all the very best for the future.
