I never had friends at school because of the colorful clothes I always wore. Butsomething happened one day.
It was the first day of school. I got dressed and walked to the bus stop. Then, the bus slowly came over. The door opened, and I saw many eyes staring at me. I walked to the back of the bus. As I passed the other kids, they whispered and laughed. After arriving at the school, I walked to my classroom and sat at the desk at the very back of the classroom. I enjoyed listening to the teachers, but I didn't like it when the bell rang for lunch. I walked to an empty(空的) table. I opened my lunch bag and began to eat. A girl with long red hair came over to my table and sat down. There was a friendly smile on her face.
"What's your name?" she asked.
"Rachael," I whispered.
"I am Monica," she said.
"No one likes me," I said after a while.
"I do," she replied. "After a while of beinglonely, I learned that you have to be friends with people who look lonely, too. Then, no one will ever be lonely in this world."
Now, I have lots of friends. I will neverforget the day when my friend gave me the advice which would last a lifetime.
