Long long ago, there was a small village in the Middle East. In the village there was an old man (名字叫……) Sthira. He lived (独自) .His only son had gone far away to study. Sthira's friends didn't know if his son would return, but Sthira always said, "Whatever happens, happens for good."
One day the old man's son returned and the villagers were very happy for Sthira. He thanked the villagers and said (礼貌地) , "Whatever happens, happens for good. "(然而) , one day Sthira's son(突然) fell off the horse and broke his leg. Once again the villagers came to visit him and once again the old man thanked them and said, "Whatever happens, happens for good." Some of the villagers were (吃惊的) to hear this. Why? What was good? His son's leg got badly (受伤) !
After a few days, the army(军队) came to the village and asked all the young men to (加入) the army. When they found his son had a broken leg, they (留下) him behind. Once again, all the villagers came to congratulate(祝贺) him on his good (运气). Like always, the old man was still grateful to them and said, "Whatever happens, happens for good."
An accident me last week.

youwhen the accident happened?
I a new computer.
I was walking down the street the other day when I suddenly saw a small purse lying on the ground. I picked it up and opened it to see if I could find the owner's name. There was nothing inside it except some money and an old photo of a woman and a young girl about twelve years old. The girl looked like the woman's daughter. I put the photo back and took the wallet to the police station. There I gave it to a policeman. Before I left, the policeman took down my name and address so that the owner could write to me and thank me if the policeman found the owner.
That evening I went for dinner with my aunt and uncle. They also invited a young woman, so there were four people at the table. Her face seemed familiar. I was quite sure that we had met before, but I could not remember where I had seen her. During the talk, the young woman said that she had lost her purse that afternoon. At once I knew where I had seen her. She was just the young girl in the photo though she was now much older. She was very surprised, of course, when I was able to tell her what her purse was like.
My uncle said that we should go to the police station at once to get the purse. As that policeman handed it over, he said it was an interesting coincidence(巧合). I not only found the purse, but also made friends with the person who had lost it.
