Alice: Yes,
Joe: It's a beautiful house.
Alice: It was my home. I don't live in it now. My family moved to a big house last year. It's big and nice.
Joe: Your eyes were big and your mouth was small.
Alice: Thank you.
Joe:
Alice: No. That's my friend.
Joe: Were you in primary school then?
Alice:
There are 46 children in our class. 17 of us live near the school and they come to school on foot. 13 children come to school by bus.12 children come to school by car. Their parents drive them to school. Four children take the subway to school. They have to walk too, because the subway station is five minutes away from the school.
I go to school by bus. The buses are always crowded, and I seldom (很少) have a seat. Usually I stand all the way to school and back home. The bus drivers know me, because I take their buses every day.
We have a new house in Beijing. We live in Flat 4A. Miss Li lives next to us. She lives in Flat 4B. She lives with her parents and two brothers. There are three bedrooms in Miss Li's flat.
Miss Li loves little animals. She keeps a cat and three fish. She wants to keep a dog, too. But her mother doesn't like dogs. Miss Li is kind to her pets. Every day she gives nice food to them.
