7-year-old Tom likes cartoons very much. When the cartoons begin on TV, he does nothing until they're over, Sometimes he would wait for a long time and go to bed late. In the morning his mother has to wake him up, or he'll be late for school.
Yesterday Tom heard there would be an interesting cartoon today. This morning, as soon as he got up, he turned on the television, but he didn't see the program on it, He had to have breakfast and then go to school. After school he ran home while his mother was cooking lunch in the kitchen, He hurried to the sitting room and turned on the television again, but he couldn't find the cartoon. He rushed into the kitchen and asked his mother for help.

I like traveling (旅行) to interesting places Taking a train is now my favorite way of traveling.
Traveling by plane is the fastest way. However, I don't want to spend too much on the ticket. Traveling by bus is usually the cheapest, but it's really too slow.
Last year, I had a train trip from Beijing to Guangzhou. I bought a Train G69 ticket and started my trip. It's high-speed- train (高铁). Later learned Beijing-Guangzhou- High-Speed Railway is now the longest high-speed railway in the world. It is about 2,298 kilometers long. The train travels at about 350km/h, much faster than the trains in the past.
I had a wonderful time on the train. It was the most comfortable trip for me. Train G69 has more comfortable seats and much bigger room (空间). It was easy for me to find something to eat in the restaurant car.
From this trip, I found that traveling by train was the best way for me. I would enjoy train trips after that.
Being outgoing is good for your life. Those who are more outgoing may have more fun in life. In fact, being outgoing is not so hard as you think. Even shy people can be outgoing.
You can start becoming outgoing with your best friends or a group of friends. But the real challenge（挑战）comes when you meet strange people. Smile more, and usually they will return your smile. In this way, you may have some more talks.
Start a talk. Just a simple "Hello" or "How is it going” is a good start. If you want to make interesting talks, you should read news in the newspapers and prepare（准备）your views, or surf the Internet for new information and then keep that in mind.
The easier way to become more outgoing is to go out. This is also the most important step. Go to a park, the beach, a club, a party or any other places that you think can be fun, and you may make new friends there.
People spend almost a third of their lives doing one thing-sleeping. Every year, there is a special ay for people around the world to celebrate the importance of good and healthy sleep-World Sleep Day.

7, half year ago, Tom got seriously ill (有病的). He had to stay in the ICU. Tom had very 8 time there, but he didn't' give up (放弃). I know he 9 very hard to live. Luckily, he is getting much better now. Although he is still in the ICU, 10, he can talk to me. I'm sure he will be OK. He still has a lot to do in life.
