Is it good to be in the middle? Sometimes, no, like when you're in the middle seat on a long car ride. But sometimes, , like when you're in the middle of a great movie. What will happen next? Middle school is bit like that.
Middle school is called middle school it's in the middle of your school years. Elementary school is you. High school and possibly college still await(等待) you. Middle school often includes sixth, seventh, and eighth , but you might go to middle school earlier or later, depending on how it's done in your area.
For a kid, going to middle school is often a big change:
·First, it often means moving to a new , which takes some time to adjust(调整) to.
·Second, it may mean taking a different bus, with different students.
·Third, the friends you in elementary school may end up going to different middle schools.
All that can make you a bit scared on the first day of school.
Other things that probably will be different are the teachers and the work. Have you heard that middle school teachers are really mean and the homework is really, really ? Oh, dear. We've heard those, too, but usually they're not . Yes, you'll like some teachers better than others, but middle schools are not special for teachers!

Here comes your CHANCE！Youth Explorer has prepared you with a THREEDAY SUMMER PROGRAM！You can take part in many hands on activities and meet with live animals—giraffes, pandas, tigers, and so on！More information about the program is as follows:
Age: Students aged 8～16
Groups: There are 2 programs for you to choose from. Each program needs at most 15 students.
Program A Dates: 14～16 July, 2014 Days: Monday to Wednesday Time: 10: 00 a. m.～4: 00 p. m. |
Program B Dates: 5～7 August, 2014 Days: Tuesday to Thursday Time: 10: 00 a. m.～4: 00 p. m. |
Program cost: $230 for members; $250 for nonmembers
How to do: Simply come to our centre to get an application form(申请表).
Send your completed form on or before 11th July, 2014(Friday).
Notes:
⒈NO FREE LUNCHES ARE PROVIDED because of personal food differences. You may either bring a lunch box or pay for lunch at our restaurants.
⒉Both programs will start 1 DAY later if there is a warning of rainstorms.
