In a faraway place, there was a village. The village was1in potatoes than anywhere else in the country. At the end of every growing season,2potatoes were dug out of the ground, and readied for market. In each home, men and women would3divide the potatoes into three groups: large, medium and small.
One year, there was a young man4received his share of the potatoes. As the other villagers5, he walked around the village laughing and talking.6villagers thought he was lazy, and they worried that this man would never get7potatoes ready in time. When it was time for the villagers8to market, they were greatly surprised to find that the man's potatoes9perfectly into three groups.
After10the man how he did it, they understood he was not lazy,11very clever. He had put all his potatoes in a cart and pulled it along the village's rough dirt road. As the cart moved up and down over the road, the potatoes moved12. The small potatoes moved to the bottom, the larger potatoes rose to the top and the medium potatoes rested13the middle.
Life14like this too. The rough roads we travel along can also15us.

Four years ago, Chinese skater Wu Dajing introduced himself to the skating world by winning a silver medal at the Sochi Olympic Winter Games. At this year's PyeongChang Olympics, Wu not only returned, but also made history.
On Feb 22nd, 2018, Wu won the gold medal in the men's short-track 500-metre race. He set a new world record with a time of 39.584 seconds. He also became the first Chinese man to take home an Olympic short-track gold medal. BBC said Wu's win was "flawless", because he was much faster than all of the other skaters.
"I didn't give them a chance and I kept my speed from the start," he told the reporter after the match.
But China's short-track teams didn't do well in general at the Games. Chinese skaters in the women's 500 metres, 3,000-metre relay and men's 1,500 metres all failed to take home the gold. Wu was China's biggest hope, which put a lot of pressure on him. But he proved himself with his great performance.
Wu is now known as a highly talented skater. But things were not always that way. When Wu joined the national team in 2010, he was seen as almost "nothing" compared to gifted skaters like Zhou Yang and Fan Kexin, as his coaches said at the time. Their words made him quite upset. But Wu didn't want to give up and worked as hard as he could. He practised skating all year round. He even didn't return to his hometown for the holidays for 10 years. "I believe in myself," he told the reporter after his match at the Olympics.
Do you know 2022 World Cup will be held in Qatar (卡塔尔). And FIFA (国际足联) has made a big decision. The 2022 Qatar World Cup will be held in November and December. It is the first time FIFA has moved the event from its traditional summer to winter.
According to the decision, the 2022 World Cup will start on November 21. The final will take place on December 18, one week ahead of Christmas. The tournament will last 28 days, half a week shorter than usual.
FIFA said, "This is an important step for us. December 18, 2022 is a Sunday, and it's National Day in Qatar, so it fits perfectly."
Many people disagree that Qatar has the chance to hold the 2022 World Cup, since its summer temperature is very high—sometimes, the temperature may be about 50℃. So the country has an idea to move it to winter. At last FIFA gave the chance to Qatar.
Although the change is good for the players, there is still muchopposition. The biggest opposition comes from the major European leagues (欧洲联赛), because the new time will be just in Europe's club season. FIFA said they would try their best to make things go well.
