When I had something difficult to do, I used to(过去常常) ask my mum for help. But she always said, "Do it 1, dear." I would get so angry(生气的). I thought she was2mother in the world!
For example, one day, I decided3some friends to my home. My bedroom was very dirty. Books were all over the table and ground. I didn't make my bed. I asked my4to help me clean it. But she said seriously(严肃地), "Do it yourself, girl."
Because of my "lazy mum", I have to5my clothes and clean my room. I have to help my parents6. I even have to go to the dentist(牙医)7. It is really hard to do everything on my own,8 I have learned a lot.
As time goes by, I understand my mother. It's her "laziness" that makes me clever and diligent(勤奋的). Just as my mum always says, "A lady can't be lazy, or(否则) she'll be crazy.9 can make you sunny(快乐的)! "
10great mother! Don't you think so? A good mother is worth a hundred teachers!

In the morning, we went camping along a path in Green Natural Park. We were happy because it was a sunny day. We were expecting an enjoyable twoday holiday. On the way, we kept singing and making jokes.
However, in the afternoon, when we finished our picnic at one o'clock, it was dark and windy. Soon, there was a shower. Unluckily, none of us brought an umbrella. We ran about but we could not find any place to hide.
Twenty minutes passed and it was still raining. There were hours to go before we reached the campsite(野营地). It was even worse that our small compass(指南针)showed that we went the wrong way. We lost our way! We had to make a quick decision because it was raining heavily. Chris said we could set up a tent to hide in, so Mary and Tom helped to set up the tent. Chris and I tried to make a fire to keep us warm. But we were unable to light the fire, as everything was wet. We dried ourselves, chatted and waited inside the tent. At about five o'clock, it stopped raining. We decided to give up the camping trip because all of us had been very tired.
This camping trip may not be very successful but we know each other better. And the most important thing I learned from this trip is the importance of team spirit.

Last weekend our geography(地理) teacher, Mr. Read, took us to Greentown on a school trip. He wrote letters to some hotels there. In the end he chose Ally Hotel. We had a terrible trip!
Mr. Read drove the school bus. The journey took many hours! Some of us were asleep on the way because we got up very early in the morning. We finally arrived in Greentown at nearly 11: 30 pm. Then it started to rain heavily. On Sunday morning, when we went downstairs for breakfast, we got a surprise. Then at lunchtime, one of the boys fell into the river. Luckily, He heard his shouts and ran out to save him. The Sunday afternoon was terrible, too. Two girls didn't tell Mr. Read and went to the center of the town. They got lost. A policeman brought them back to our hotel. We returned to our city on Sunday evening.. Never again!
