Last Sunday, I a lot of things. In the morning, it was cool. I went to the supermarket with my mother. There lots of people there. The supermarket was very (crowd), so I felt unhappy. At noon, it was hot. I had lunch my friends. Then we listened to music and had a rest there. The weather was still hot the afternoon, so we went to the beach and (swim) in the sea. We had great fun (play) in the water all the afternoon. In the evening, the weather was cool. We played table tennis our school. We played (hard) and we felt a little .
I was born in a small river. When I young, the river was my home. I didn't know my (parent), I had (hundred) of brothers and sisters. I swam(游)and played all day with . At that time, I didn't look like my parents. I had no legs, but I had a long tail(尾巴). So I (look) like a fish.
Then (I) tail got shorter than before. And now I know l four legs and a very short tail. I know I'm going to (like) my parents. Then I'm going to eat lots of bad (insect). Do you know what I am?
I am an animal lover and l am (interesting) in wild(野生的)animals very much. Last weekend my family visited the zoo and we had a good time there.
On Saturday morning we went to the zoo by bus. took us about one hour to get there. We watched the animals on a mini bus because the animals there didn't live cages(笼子). On the way we saw beautiful birds, (love)monkeys, and strong lions. (lucky), we also saw a beautiful white tiger and her two kids. The mother was teaching her kids to catch rabbits.
It was fun in the zoo. I had exciting day. Only one thing was bad. My cousin didn't (come)with us and I promised(答应)to take a lot of photos of animals for her. I couldn't take any because it was difficult for me (take) photos on the bus. I (worry) that she would not be happy.
Recently, a foreign student in China gave a very touching answer to the question: What should China be (pride) of? It was widely spread online.
Emma is from Canada. She came to China four years ago. Now she is university student in Ningbo. The following is China in her eyes.
" (find) a job in China can be really simple. There are more job (chance) here than any other country in the world."
"Its public security (安全) is great. I have travelled to many countries so far, and I think China is really (safety)."
"About 400 million Chinese are studying English. China has become the country that has the (great) number of English speakers in non-English speaking countries."
"The speed of Chinese trains is high. On my (three) visit to my friend in Beijing, I took a train there, from Ningbo Beijing. The train runs 1,365 kilometers for only seven hours."
"I think there (be) many more things China should be proud of. I believe China will be much better other countries."
While being on my year abroad, I have tried to collect small things such as train tickets, postcards, and 1 have been taking lots of photographs. Living in (French), I take the metro (地铁) every day. I have my own personalized map on which I have circled allmy favourite restaurants, cafes, parks and other places. I have even coloured it to say if these places have (freely) wi-fi or lunch deals. What I plan to do with all these things is making a scrapbook.
For those of you who have never heard of the word "scrapbook", it'sempty book which people usually take away with them on holiday, and fill it with "scraps" of paper, tickets, maps, (stamp), photographs, etc. It is like a memory book. You will always have the memories of your favourite places and rememberyou like them so much, all in your scrapbook! It is really (value) to own it if you ever want (return) to that place. My scrapbook started in September and after eight months was almost full!
Why not create a scrapbook of your time while (travel)? Isn't it nice to be able to open a book of your life and time as a traveller? You can't imagine how (happily) you can be by just looking at an old ticket with a special date on, or a napkin from your favourite restaurant. It's the little things that can make you smile.
