I think reading is important in the whole life for people. Firstly(首先), reading increases (增加) our knowledge and we can learn the world events(事件) without going out. Secondly, reading is a good way to improve (提高) reading and writing skills (技巧). Before you learn to write, you must know how others write. Thirdly, reading can broaden(开阔) our knowledge and horizon (视野). It is good for us. So I think a good book is my best friend. Reading is my best friend, too. I get along well with it every day. I like it very much. When I read a very interesting story, I will share(分享)it with friends and parents. It's very important for me. When I have time, I always take out a book and read quietly.
