While being abroad, I have tried to collect small things such as train tickets, postcards, and I have been taking lots of photographs. Living in (French), I take the metro(地铁)every day. I have my own personalized map on which I have circled all my favorite restaurants, cafes, parks and other places. I have even colored it to say if these places have (freely) Wi—Fi. What I plan to do with all these things is making a scrapbook.
For those of you who have never heard of the word "scrapbook", it's empty book which people usually take away with them on holiday. And they fill it with " scraps" of paper, tickets, maps, (stamp) , photographs, etc. It is like a memory book. You will always have the memories of your favorite places and the reasons you liked them so much, all in your scrapbook! It is really (value) to own it if you want (return) that place. My scrapbook started in September and after eight months it was almost full!
Why not create a scrapbook of your time while (travel) ? Isn't it nice to be able to open a book of your life and time as a traveler? You can't imagine how (happily) you can be by just looking at an old ticket with a special date on, or a napkin from your favorite restaurant. It's the little things that can make you smile.
