Welcome to the Eiffel Tower! It was built by Gustave Eiffel, a famous engineer. The tower was finished in 1889. It is made of iron. There are about 18,038 different altogether. The height of the tower is about 324 metres. It is the tallest building in Paris.
At , some people did not like the tower. They said that it was very ugly. But after a few years, it became very . The tower has which go up to the top. There is a very good view of Paris there. On a clear day, you can see for more than 30 miles. If you don't want to go by lift, you can walk up the , but remember that there are more than l,000 steps up to the top.
The tower is repaired every years. It is in colour. About 45 tonnes (吨) of paint are needed to repaint it.

During my five years in China, I have had the chance to travel all over China and see some interesting things. I have seen many places of interest, such as the Great Wall in Beijing, the home of Confucius in Qufu, Shandong Province, and the city of Xi'an. I've also seen beautiful gardens in Suzhou, Huangguoshu Waterfall in Guizhou Province, and wonderful beaches in Dalian and Qingdao. Huangguoshu Waterfall is the most beautiful place I've ever seen. I've also met many friendly people around China, including the students in the middle schools I visited in Shanxi and Guizhou. All of my experiences were wonderful.
