Our Hometown
Before I lived in a poor countryside, but now my hometown changes a lot. Ten years ago it was a very poor place, people here had no TV or radio, people here had no rice to eat, no fresh water to drink, sometimes they were still hungry. Some students at school used very bad desks before. But now after the open-gate policy, our countryside is becoming richer(更富有)and richer. Here are many new things, like the computers, new schools and new buildings. So every person arriving here are saying that our hometown has changed a lot.
