It is easier to go downhill than to climb uphill. So it is easier to fall into bad habits than into good ones. Bad habits do not come suddenly. They come little by little without one being aware of their danger. School boys first pick up little bad habits in school and on the street. When they can't write their lessons, they copy from their schoolmates. If they see bigger boys smoking, they also want to learn to smoke. If they see their friends gambling they want to gamble. When they get bigger, the habits become stronger and stronger so that they can no longer get rid of them. From copying they learn to steal, from gambling, they learn to cheat. At last they become suspected by everybody. How necessary it is that we get rid of the bad habits in the beginning!

Tom: Dad, Would you like to play ping pong with me?
Dad: Sure.
Tom: I can't find my ping pong. Where is it?
Dad: Is it in your desk?
Tom: Let me have a look. No, it isn't.
Dad: Tom, come here, please
Tom: Yes, Dad.
Dad: Is the ping pong under the bed yours?
Tom: No, it isn't. It's my brother's.
Dad: Look! There is a ping pong behind the door. It must be yours.
Tom: Oh, yes. Thank you, Dad!
People know a lot about the moon now. It is smaller than the earth. There is no air or water on the moon, so there are not any trees or people on the moon. The moon gets its light(光) from the sun, but some places on the moon are quite dark. The days on the moon get hotter(更热) than boiling water(沸水). The nights get colder than the North Pole(北极)。
The sun and the moon rise in the east (东方) and go down in the west (西方). At noon, the sun is high in the sky, the shadow is short. In the morning and evening, the sun is low (低的), the shadow is long. When (当.....的时候) the sun rises, it is daytime (白天). When the sun goes down, it is night. At night, sometimes (有时候) you can see the round moon in the clear sky. Many Chinese people like the moon. Many poets (诗人) write poems (诗) about the moon. Now the Chang'e-4 Lunar Probe (嫦娥四号月球探测器) is on the moon. It tells us many things about the moon. People can learn a lot about the moon.
