I'm Sam. I went to Mount Tai with my friend Tony Last Sunday. It's near our city, so we took a taxi there. We arrived there at five o'clock. And then we climbed the mountain. We saw many beautiful flowers and old trees on the way. At noon, we had a picnic. We ate sandwiches and hamburgers for lunch. I drank two bottles of water. Tony drank a cup of juice. After that we took a lot of photos. At seven o'clock, we went home. We were all tired but we had a happy time.

I was born in a small river. I did not know my father or mother, but I had many brothers and sisters. At that time I had a long tail(尾巴), but no legs. So I looked like(看起来像) a fish. Then my tail became shorter and shorter(越来越越短). And now I have four legs and a very short tail. My tail will be lost at last. Then I'm going to jump out of the water. I'm going to live on the land and in the water too. What am I?

Long long ago, there was a man. He wanted to buy a pair of new shoes. At home, he got the size(尺寸) of his foot with a stick. And he put the stick on the chair. He went to the shoe shop and found a pair of new shoes. He liked them very much. He remembered the stick at home. So he hurried home to get the stick. When he came back from home. The shoe shop was closed. "Why didn't you try the shoes on?" A man asked him. " "I believe(相信) my stick, but not my foot." He said.

The Spring Festival is our Chinese people's festival. There are twelve different names for each Chinese year. We all call it the year of Monkey, the year of Dog --- and the year of Rabbit.
Before the day of the festival, people are busy with shopping and cleaning. On the eve of the Spring Festival, there is a big family dinner. After dinner, all the family stay up late(守夜) to welcome the new year. In the middle of the night, we have some dumplings and watch TV. On the first day of the new year, people wear new clothes to visit their relatives and say "Happy New Year "to each other.
