    "Mom, I want to have a fast Porsche (保时捷)," said 16-year-old Steve, as he  our old family car home after he passed his driving test. "It is expensive, " I answered. "You will have to work  to buy one."

    Over the next several years Steve tried  best to realize (实现) the dream. After high school he won a scholarship (奖学金) to study at a famous university and always got good grades. Later he got an MBA degree and found a  in a large company (公司).  he got married (结婚).

    One day he invited us to his home in Los Angeles for his birthday. After a round of hugs (拥抱), Steve asked me to stand in front of the garage (车库). He opened the door.
