My name is Sam. I'm a student in Yucai Junior High School. Today is Monday (星期一). It's 4:00 p.m. Some of my classmates and I are 1 the playground. Tom is playing soccer. Lucy is sitting under a tree and 2 the soccer game. Linda is 3 sitting there and she is listening to music. I 4 around the playground. But I think it's 5. Then I begin to play basketball with Jack. When the bell rings, every student takes out an iPad. The light from the screens(屏幕) makes their young faces pretty and lively. That's what happens every day at my school in the US. We use iPad in class.
I feel surprised and excited when I get an iPad the first day I get to the school. But it is not free. I spend about $100 renting(租) it for three years.
Every iPad at my school has a special learning system(系统) called Focus. Teachers put their teaching material like textbooks and PPTs on it. When we have classes, we enter the system and download(下载) the materials with our iPads.
It makes the classes interesting and efficient(高效). For example, a few weeks ago, we learned about London in the UK. Our teacher prepared a video. Through the video, we saw many places of interest in London. We could not only watch the video，but also see the words at the same time. Because of the video, I know more about the city.
We also do our homework with iPads. We can know how well we do our homework right after we submit (提交) our homework.
However, there are still some bad points about learning with iPads. Some of my classmates play games or surf the Internet in class.
I believe the key to use iPads well is to have good self-control (自制), isn't it?

•Study
Most students take the school bus to school. Some go to school by train. When they arrive at their classrooms, they put their homework in a box. Then one student will take it to the teachers' office.
•Lunch
Students often have lunch at school. The lunch time is usually from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. They can have free school lunch. They don't have to pay for it.
•Uniforms
Students often wear uniforms at school. On their uniforms, you can see the school logo(校徽). They think uniforms are important. When they go on a school trip, they all look the same. So students may not get lost. What's more, students don't need to worry about what to wear every day. Their parents don't have to buy expensive clothes for them, either.

TOM: This is my first year at my new school. Each of my old friends in the elementary school goes to a different school now and I don't see them. But I'm still happy with my new school: I have some new friends here. They are from different places. We talk to each other after class and we play games together.
MARY: I like my new school! There are many modern buildings in our school, and we have different classes in different buildings: Art and Music classes in the art building, P.E. in the gym, and Computers and Biology in the lab building. It's so exciting! My favorite subject is Biology. My classmates and I grow beautiful flowers and small plants in the lab.
STEVEN: I'm in the first year at my new school. I like my teachers and classmates, and they like me, too. Our teachers are very nice. I enjoy classes. There are 45 students in my class, and most of them are very friendly. We hold birthday parties for our classmates. At the parties we cheer, sing, and dance. We have a good time together.
I'm Bob and I'm a student of No.2 Middle School. We have many rules in our school. I think some of them are good for us, but others are not so good.
We have to wear our school uniforms. I think it's good. If we don't have this rule, some students will wear expensive clothes. We can't be late for school and we have to listen to the teacher carefully in class. All of these rules are good for our study and I like them.
We can't take mobile phones to school. I don't think it's a good idea. Sometimes our parents are busy and can't get home early. They need to tell us about that. If we don't take phones, how can they call us? Also, we can't go to the movies on weekends. I know we should study hard, but we need to relax a little, too.
