We all know the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games(冬奥会), But do you know the firemen who are guarding(守护)the Olympics? I think they are great, too.

Allen is my uncle. He lives(居住)in a city near Tianjin. He is a fireman. There are about5, 000 firemen in the city. They are ready (准备) to answer an alarm(警报器)at any time of the day or night. Many alarms are for small fires. Firemen can put out them in a short time. But sometimes (有时) the fire is big. There is very heavy(浓的) smoke in a big fire. That's very dangerous (危险的). Firemen sometimes have to enter the fire to rescue (营救) the people inside. Uncle Allen's work is dangerous, but he is proud (自豪) of his job. He likes the job very much.

Guangdong is in the south（南部）of China. In spring, the weather is changeable（多变的）. Sometimes it's cold, and sometimes it's warm. In summer, it becomes（变得） hotter and hotter. The highest temperature（最高温度） is over 37℃. The autumn in Guangdong is very nice. It's neither（也不）too cold nor （也没有）too hot. But it is too short. The winter in Guangdong isn't very cold. It doesn't snow. But most of the children look forward to making a snowman. The weather in Guangdong is sometimes warmer than that in Beijing. But in summer it is cooler in Beijing than in Guangdong.

This is a clothes shop. There are many clothes here. There are shorts, dresses, shirts, T-shirts. There are black shorts and blue shorts. The dresses are beautiful. There are red dresses, yellow dresses and white dresses. But there are no shoes.

Lily is a pupil. She is in Class 4, Grade 1. Her school is not far away（远离） from her home, and she walks（步行） to school and goes home every day. In winter, it is very cold and snowy. Lily walks to school. The cold snow goes into her eyes and hair, and she is crying（哭）. Her tears（眼泪） are running out of her eyes. She runs to the classroom, and it is warm there. Some are English books and some are Chinese books. Amy and Lily have got many books, too. They like reading very much. They often borrow（借） books from the school library（图书馆）.

It's important（重要的） for everyone to have three meals（三餐） every day. Tom is a student. He usually（经常） has breakfast at home. His mother cooks （煮）breakfast for him every day. Mother likes eggs and milk, because they can help her add（增加） protein（蛋白质）. But he prefers（更喜欢） bread and juice. He has lunch at school. He often eats beef（牛肉） and chicken.
