I thought my dad would not have it and be angry with Mom. To my surprise, my dad took the bread, smiled at my mom and talked with me3, while he was eating the bread. I couldn't remember4 I told him that night. But I did remember watching him put some better on the bread and eat up the bread as usual.
After dinner, I still5 if my dad really liked the burnt bread. So I asked him to6 and take a walk around our house and asked him about that. He took me in his7 and said, "Your mom worked very hard all day. She's really tired. And you see a bit of burnt food8 stops us from loving others!" What a great husband and father he is!9I was a little girl at that time, I still could feel his true care for Mom. I felt his arms were warmer.

"Dreams may be more important than sleep. We all need to dream." some scientists say. Dreams take up about one quarter of our sleeping time. People have several dreams each night.
Dreams are like short films. They are usually in color. Some dreams are like old films. They come up over and over again. That may be the dreamer worrying about something. Dreaming may be a way of trying to find an answer.
Some people get new ideas about their work from dreams. They may have been thinking about their work all day. These thoughts can carry over into dreams.
Too much dreaming can be harmful. The more we sleep, the longer we dream. The mind is still at work when we dream. That is why we may have a long sleep and still wake up tired.
I'm Jackson and I'm 15 years old. I help at a dog shelter (收容所). This is what I do at the shelter every day.
5:30 p. m.
I get to the shelter. I say hi to the dogs.
5:45 p. m.
The first thing I do, after saying hi to the animals, is to clean their living area (生活区). It's not my favorite job, but I'm happy to do anything to help the animals.
6:00 p. m.
I take some dogs out to an outdoor area. 'This is a place for them to get some exercise. They also get some snacks (零食). After a few minutes, I take them to their living area and take another group of dogs out.
7:00 p. m.
After the exercise, it's time to eat dinner. Well, not for me! I give food and water to all the dogs.
7:30 p. m.
I make sure all of the dogs are back in their living area and then I go home.
The dogs are very good animals and I hope they will find home soon. If you love dogs, why not take one home?
Long time ago, there were two talented boys, John and Joe. They showed great talents from an early age, and they did better than others around.
They grew up but they chose different ways. John used all of his talents to find a good job. He took part in many activities and visited the most important people and places. Everyone thought that he would be the most important person in the world.
But Joe was different. He always took a heavy responsibility (责任). He was always busy looking for ways to help others.
One day, bad things happened and they met many problems. John didn't know what to do. But Joe always tried his best to resolve all kinds of problems. He thought of some good ways and didn't let the bad things affect (影响) the people in his town. From then on, he was more famous than John.
John then knew that our best talents were not only for ourselves. He leaned from Joe that we should always help other people.
I am Linda. I had a very relaxing day yesterday. In the morning, I got up at seven o'clock. Then I went to run with my father. I think we need to exercise every day. After all, it's important to keep healthy. After running, I took a shower and had breakfast. At nine o'clock, I went to the zoo with my friends. We saw some pandas and lions there. Pandas are very cute but the lions are scary. We also saw a dolphin show. I think dolphins are very clever animals. In the gift shop, we bought many gifts. We had great fun there.
In the afternoon, my parents took me to see my grandparents. They live in the beautiful countryside. They were very happy to see me. I talked with my grandparents for long and he told me many interesting things about him. My grandmother cooked lots of delicious food for us.
In the evening, I watched TV with my cousins. We watched a basketball match. The match was very exciting. We were glad when we saw our favorite team in the match.
What a happy day! I hope all of you can have an interesting day!
