My name is Crisy Horber. I'm twelve years old. My birthday is on 20th December. I was born in America but I live in China with my parents now. They work in Nanjing. We live on Zhongshan Road. I'm tall and slim. My eyes are big and blue. I have short yellow hair. But my classmates all have black hair. That's interesting. In America, the colours of people's hair are quite different. I like swimming and I'm in the school swimming team. I like playing tennis, too. But my classmates don't play tennis. They play basketball, football and badminton after school. They're all very kind to me and ask me to play with them. I love Chinese food. We often have dinner in different restaurants. It's great that I can live in China and have many friends here.

One day, in an English class, the students are having their lessons. Their teacher, a young woman is very happy. She sings some nice songs with them and then she goes to the blackboard and writes "SMILES" on it. "This is the longest(最长)word in English," she says to the class. A girl stands up and says, "It has only six letters. How can it be the longest word in English?" The teacher smiles and says, "Oh, look! There is a mile (英里) between the first letter and the last one."
