Do you know anything about the Great Wall? I visited it last summer and I want to tell you about it.
The Great Wall of China is national landmark that is famous around the world. And it is one of the seven wonders of the world.
The Great Wall was first built about more than 2,000 years ago.
The emperor named Qin Shihuang let the working people build it. The main reason was to protect China. And other emperors continued building it. From Ming Dynasty, it is about 8,850 kilometers long. And it is the longest wall in the world. And now the famous part of the Great Wall is Badaling part of the Ming Great Wall.
There is saying, "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man.” I think every Chinese should visit the Great Wall. It's the pride of our country.
