My name is Alice. I am 14 years old. I 1 from the USA, but now I do not live in 2 . I live in Beijing 3 my parents. I am a student in Class 2,Grade 7 at a middle school in Beijing. My parents 4 English in the same school. My 5 teaches the Grade 9 students, and my mother teaches 6 English. My father is tall and 7 black hair, and my mother is thin and has brown hair. They can 8 Chinese. I have no 9 or sisters, but I have cousins.
My father is good at 10 football, but my mother is not. She likes making 11 . After class my father often plays football with his 12 . He likes them, 13 they like him too. Beijing is a very beautiful city. My parents and I 14 love this city. We like our life here 15 .
It's Jimmy's birthday and he is 9 years old. He gets a lot of presents from his family and one of them is a big drum( 鼓 ). His grandfather buys it for him. Jimmy likes it very much. He plays with it every day and he often makes a terrible noise (可怕的声音). His father works in the day and Jimmy is in bed when he gets home in the evening. So his father doesn't hear the noise.
But Mrs. Black doesn't like the noise, so one morning she takes a sharp knife and goes to Jimmy's room when he hits his drum. She says to him, "Hello! Jimmy. Do you know there is something very nice in your drum? Here is a knife. Please open the drum and let's find it."

Monday is the first work day of the week for most Americans and also the first school day of the week.
It is eight o'clock on a Monday morning, and it is raining.
A cold wind is blowing（吹）, and the sky is grey. Men and women are going to work. Some are walking. Some are on the bus. Some are waiting for buses on windy corners（角落） in the rain. Others are driving their cars, or in the cars of their neighbors and friends. The city streets are full of cars and buses. All are going slowly（缓慢地）, one after another, along（沿着） the city streets and on the roads between cities and towns.
Children are going to school. Some are on school buses. Some are in their parents' cars. Many are walking, and they are not very happy.
Life is not beautiful on a rainy Monday morning.
I have three good friends. They are Jack, David and Mark.
