I often spend my summer holidays just with my parents. It is quite boring. But last summer holiday was1. Some of my friends came to stay with my parents and me for a week at our summer house. It is in a small beach town called Portsea. They got there by train. It2them three hours.
One morning my friends and I 3to take my parents' boat for a ride. We rowed (划船)4half an hour and found a big cave (山洞). Susan said it could be dangerous to go into it. But Peter said it was okay.5we started rowing again and got in. Then the tide (潮) started. At first we thought we could fight it but we were6. We shouted for7but there was no one around. Susan and I began to cry. Louis told us not to worry because the tide would be out. Because Louis always seemed to know the answer to8, we stopped crying.
Luckily, Louis was right9. After some hours the tide went out. We rowed back home quickly. We didn't10my parents about this special trip. And we were so afraid that we would not have a boat ride again.
Our family went to the Yellow Stone National Park last summer vacation. Our son, Tom, wanted to see bears there. And what a breathtaking experience (经历) it was!
When we got there, we put up our tent and went to explore (探险). As we returned, we heard our daughter Susie cry out. And then we saw a bear go into our tent.
Tom wanted his father to chase (追赶) it away. His father said, "No. It's dangerous to chase a bear. And don't let it chase you." Susie said, "What shall we do? Maybe we should climb up a tree." Tom said, "No. We have to get it out of there. It might (可能) go to sleep in our tent." "Maybe we could make it leave if we put some honey outside for it to eat, " Susie suggested (建议). Then I said, "How are you going to get the honey? It's in the tent." We watched the bear go into the tent and heard it upset (翻倒；弄翻) everything inside. "It's foolish (愚蠢的) of us to try to chase it away, " said my husband (丈夫)."Leave it alone and wait for it to come out." We waited, but the bear stayed inside. We had to sleep in the car that night.

They have no money to travel. , because they have to help their parents do a lot of housework. Some families are too poor, so the children can't go to school and .

I had a trip all over China. I was (interest) in how different the weather was in different cities.
In Qingdao we ate seafood, drank beer and even swam in the sea, In Harbin we (wear) our warm clothes and saw the amazing ice and snow sculptures(雪雕).
Shanghai made me (think) of a city in Europe or America. are lots of Western cafes.
Guilin is a good place to visit during the Spring Festival. Fireworks filled the sky and the streets busy with excited people. I visited the old (build) and walked around a beautiful lake.
But Yangshuo is my favorite city. I could not stop (take) photos of the beautiful mountains and the Li River, I rode a along the Yulong River in the warm sun. I ate strawberries drank tea from the farms in the mountains.
Now I am back in Beiing. I am (look) forward to my next trip. I think I will go to another warm place!
