Today is Sunday. Linda is at home. She is watching TV. She is very happy. The show is about a bad man. Linda is very angry with him. Then the bad man chases a little boy. Linda is worried about the little boy. A police officer comes and saves the little boy. Linda is happy again.
One day, a businessman in a small village meets a cook, a postman and a worker. He gives them three seeds (种子) and says, "When you go home and plant the seeds, bring (带来) the flowers to me in three months. The one who has the most beautiful flowers will have my money (钱)!"
After three months, the cook brings a big red flower. The postman brings a small blue flower. But the worker brings nothing. He is very sad.
"I don't know why!" he says. "I watered it every day."
"You are honest!" the businessman says.
"The seeds are bad and they won't sprout (发芽)! The money is yours."
The worker is very happy. The other two men are ashamed and sad.
