However, in the Chinese cartoon movie Chang 'an (《长安三万里》), we see a different Li Bai. In the movie, Li dreams about being an officer. But he faces challenge after challenge. Everyone is good at something .but some people are (true) talented. It's always interesting to watch other people show their (talent).Talent shows are getting more and more popular. First, there were shows like American Idol and American's Got Talent. Now, there are similar shows aroundworld, such as (China) Got Talent.

七、第四部分 写作技能,第一节 任务型阅读(共 10 分,每小题 2 分)
  • 19. 阅读下面的短文,然后有关任务,并将答 案填写在答题卡上对应题号的横线上。

Is the carrot knife good or bad?

The carrot knife is a fun, plastic toy that can be folded, designed in the shape of a carrot. It has quickly caught the attention of young people nationwide in less than a month..Many    online    store    owners    say they have sold about  100,000 othe toys a month.

The toy is the creation of a college student interested in 3D printing. At first, it was just one of his many works..但是它很快在网上很流行    The children were fascinated (着迷) by its blade (刀刃) swinging in and out.

However, experts are worried that the carrot knife could lead to violent ( 暴 力 ) behavior. Although it looks cute and has a soft plastic blade, the toy is a copy of a flick-knife (弹簧刀), which falls under controlled knives in China. This kind of knife can be secretly hidden on a person and become a tool to hurt others during a fight.

The carrot knife is dangerous because of its special style of play. Many videos have clearly shown the scenes of stabbing(刺)and playful throat cutting with this toy. Some producers(生产商)

of the toy even use phrases such as "stab whomever you dislike" or "click, click, watch me stab you"to increase(增加)their sales.

The problem is not the direct harm(伤害)caused by the carrot knife, but the connection(连接) it may create with really violence in the minds of people under the age of 18. So experts are strongly encouraging parents not to buy these toys, and students should not buy them themselves.

This thing reminds people that while it's important to encourage children to enjoy themselves, it's also important to notice the harmful messages toys may send.

    1. (1) What is the carrot knife?
    2. (2) Who created the carrot knife?
    3. (3) Why is the carrot knife dangerous?
    4. (4) 将短文中划线的两个句子按要求进行翻译(英译汉)。
