Venice(威尼斯) is the "Queen" of the Adriatic Sea. Every year1 from all over the world2 Italy to visit the city. Do you know3 they like to go there for a visit?
Venice is a very beautiful city. It is quite different 4 other cities in the world. There 5 roads or streets in the city. So there aren't any cars or buses. There are6 canals(运河) in the city. There is one big canal and 177 small canals. People move7 and down the canals 8 to go to work，9 or visit their friends. But Venice is sinking(下沉)．It is going down and the water is going up. In 2040 Venice will be 10 water. The Adriatic Sea will cover the city.
Lots of people like travelling by car. It is fast and comfortable, so they can enjoy their trips better. But I think it is a little expensive.
My favourite way of travelling is to ride a bike. First, it doesn't cost too much. A bike is much cheaper than a car. Second, you will have a lot of fun if you go travelling by bike with some friends. You can sing and talk together on the way so you won't feel too tired. If you want to have a rest, you can stop anywhere. And if you have a problem, your friends can help you at any time. Third, it is easy for you to park your bike. You don't need to find a parking lot(停车场). Last, riding a bike is also a kind of exercise and it is good for your health. I believe you can get a lot from travelling by bike.
What life be like in the future? Different people have different ideas.
Daming thinks there won't any school in the future. Everyone will (study) at home. They can ask their teachers questions Internet, telephone or mail. Teachers won't (use) chalk on a blackboard any more. Will students (have) much homework (do)? No, they . They will have a lot of free time.
Tony thinks we won't travel by bus or bike any more. How will we (travel) in the future? Every family will have a small plane. Maybe there will be traffic (jam) in the air.
