Most of us still get to work and school by car and bus on the ground. Some of us dream of a day when we can fly over the ground. Scientists say the dream will come true in 2081 because the flying cars will be invented in the future. Every family will have a flying car, not only in movies, but also in real life. These helicopter-like cars will be able to fly themselves with two or more passengers (乘客).
In the 3D space of air, flying cars will move around without bridges or tunnels. Cars will park on the tops of houses. This will free up parking space on the ground. Also, we won't spend much time on our way because we will get somewhere faster and spend more time doing the things we like. We will be able to sleep in more before school because the flying cars will get us to school faster than normal buses. We will be able to get home faster because there will be fewer traffic jams in the air.
Some people think flying cars are not a good idea. It will be dangerous for flying cars to fall out of the sky. Maybe many people will lose their lives because of this.

Do you like walking in the forest or climbing the hill? Studies show that staying in a green place will make people feel comfortable and happy. But how about blue places? They include beaches, rivers, lakes and some other areas with water.
"There are a lot of studies on how green places help with people's health and feelings, but not many on blue places, " Mark Nieuwenhuijsen, a scientist says.
Are blue places good for people's health and feelings too? To learn about it, Mark and his team make a study. It takes three weeks. In the first week, 59 people spend 20 minutes each day walking along a beach in Barcelona, Spain. Then, during a different week, they spend 20 minutes walking along city streets. In the third week, they spend 20 minutes walking indoors. After each activity, the team uses some ways to assess(评估) people's feelings and health. Then they find that walking in blue places really helps a lot.
About 55% of people around the world now live in cities and there will be more in the future. It is important for people to build more blue and green places in our daily life.

"Make-A-Wish" is one of the world's most well-known charities (慈善机构). It makes wishes come true for children who have serious illnesses. It gives them hope and joy and helps them forget about their health problems and have fun.
It all started in 1980 in Phoenix, Arizona. Christopher was a 7-year-old boy who was very sick. He always dreamed of becoming a police officer. Tommy Austin and Ron Cox, two police officers, made his wish come true .They gave Christopher a tour of the city in a police helicopter (直升飞机) and made a real police uniform (制服) for him.
There are four kinds of wishes children usually have:
I wish to go. Children usually want to travel or go to a concert, a game or a park.
I wish to meet. Children sometimes want to meet their favorite actors, singers or players.
I wish to be. Some children wish to become actors, singers or police officers.
I wish to have. They often want to have a computer, a game, a bike or many other things.
Let's hope more wishes will come true in the future. People who work in the charity always try for the best. Almost 25,000 volunteers (志愿者) help, work or give money. Will you be one of them?
