My name is Helen. I am a girl. There are four people in my family. We like different rooms in my home. My father likes the study. He can read the newspaper in it. My mother likes the kitchen. She enjoys making delicious food for us. My sister Ann likes the living room. She likes watching TV. I like my bedroom. I like sleeping in my bedroom.
The Cat and the Bell
There are some mice in a house. The host of the house gets a cat. The cat has killed many of the mice.
Then the oldest mouse says, "All mice must come to my hole tonight. Let's put our head together and think what we can do to the cat."
All the mice come. Many mice speak, but no one knows how to do. At last, a young mouse stands up and says, "We must put a bell on the cat. When the cat comes near, we shall hear the bell and run away. So the cat will not catch any more of us."
But the old mouse asks, "Who will put the bell on the cat?"
No mouse answers.
The old mouse waits, but still no one answers.
At last the old mouse says, "It is not hard to say things, but it is hard to do them."
I'm Kitty. There are forty-five students in my class. Here is a survey(调查)about "Reading Books" . Thirty-two students like reading books. They all like reading storybooks. Twenty students like reading magazines.

We make a lot of junk （垃圾）every day. We throw it all away. But junk is not junk for the pupils at Being BISS International School. They turn the junk into works of art. They collect paper, old cloth, old CDs and many other things together. Everyone picks up what he or she needs. They make pieces of art out of the junk.
Arun, 10, is a fifth grader. She makes a robot. "I use a broken clock for his face, an old toy for his arms and hands and bottle caps for his eyes,"she says.
Justus,8, is a third grader.He uses the junk to make Han Solo from Star Wars （《星球大战》).This owl is made of old CDs,an ice cream lid and the top of a fan.
Justus and Arun hold their art. This fly is made of plastic forks, a speaker and some but tons.
Long long ago, there was a big cat in the house. He caught many mice while they were stealing (偷) food.
One day the mice had a meeting to talk about the way to deal with their common enemy (共同的敌人). A young mouse stood up, and said he had a good idea. "We could tie a bell around the neck of the cat. Then when he comes near, we can hear the sound of the bell, and run away.
Everyone agreed, but an old wise mouse got up and said, "That is all very well, but who will tie the bell to the cat?" The mice looked at each other, but nobody spoke.
