Most of the teenagers like us.Students are the only children in each family，so our parents love us very much.They have done everything well for us and don't want us to do any chores.I think it's bad for us.The following is a real story.
I have a classmate called Li Qing.She is the only children in his family like me.Her parents love her so much that they don't let her do any chores.Every day she only has meals，goes to school，does homework and goes to bed.So she doesn't know how to do chores at all.
One day，her father was badly ill and had an operation（手术） in a hospital.Her mother had to take care of her father in the hospital and couldn't cook the dishes for Li Qing for a week.Li Qing didn't know how to cook the meal.She had a lot of trouble cooking meals and often felt hungry.She only had instant noodles（方便面） for her meals.

Popeye the Sailor Man（《大力水手》） first became a popular cartoon in the 1930s.The sailor in that cartoon ate lots of spinach（菠菜） to make him strong.People watched him，and they began to buy and eat a lot more spinach.Popeye helped sell 33% more spinach than before!Spinach became a necessary part of many people's diets. Many people thought that the iron in spinach made Popeye strong，but this is not true.Spinach does not have any more iron than other green vegetables.
