At Haywood School, pupils usually wear the school uniform, but on Non-Uniform Day, they wear what they want. They don't take their jackets into the classrooms, so they leave money in their jacket pockets (口袋).At break, they leave the classrooms, but if it is raining, they stay in the classrooms. Of course they bully (欺负) other pupils or run around.
At Haywood School, pupils get lunch in the cafeteria. Some pupils bring their own lunch. Of course they eat it in the classrooms. They go to the cafeteria, too, and eat it there.
There are many rules in the world. We can see them everywhere. Some are in the library, some are in the park, and some are on the roads... In the library we have signs, such as "Don't speak loudly." and "Don't eat or drink." In the park, we walk on the grass, and we climb trees. On the roads, we must obey the traffic rules. We should follow the rules, because they are very important.

Dear Peter, I'm glad to tell you something about my daily life. China is great! We like our school, and the food is good, too. Lily and I go to school five days a week. There are no classes on Saturdays or Sundays. We often play games with our friends after class. We often go and see films together, too. We teach them English and they teach us Chinese. Look! I can write my name "露西" in Chinese. We are very happy here. How about you? Can you tell me by email? Best wishes, Lucy |
