Ms Lin is my music teacher. She is a 30­year­old  (China) woman. She is my favorite teacher but we only have two music lessons  week. The first one is  the afternoon of Monday. It is relaxing. Our second music lesson (be) on Friday morning. We all like it. 

Ms Lin teaches music for four  (hour) a day. When she (finish) her class, she helps us in the school music club. Ms Lin teaches us to play the guitar. 

What does she do in  (she) free time? On Saturday or Sunday, she likes going to some village (乡村) schools. She takes some music books. She thinks they are  (use) to the students. The students love Ms Lin and her music. They want to play cool music  (good) like Ms Lin. Why does Ms Lin go to the village schools?  she loves the village students and wants them to like music and be happy. 

I'm Carl. I love soccer and I play soccer with my friends every week. In one game I break my leg (摔断了腿). My friends take me to the hospital. 

The doctor says I need an operation (手术). The doctor is very nice. He helps me to relax. Then I go into the operating room. Another doctor is there. She is very nice, too. She gives me anaesthetic (麻醉). Then I fall asleep (睡着). 

About 4 hours later, I find I'm on a white bed. My parents and my friends look at me. The doctor says I must stay in bed for six weeks and that I can't do any sports in the next six weeks. It is difficult for me, but I must listen to the doctor because I want to be healthy and play soccer again.

I am Mandy and I live in the city with my parents and my little sister. The city life is boring sometimes. I love going to my grandmother's village(村庄). 

It is so much fun living in the village. I like collecting leaves (收集树叶) there. I usually do it on my way to the only shop in the village. They have many different shapes. Some are like a heart and some are like a hand. . . I can make a lot of things with leaves. One fun thing is making leaf pictures. 

This is how I make a leaf picture. I take a leaf out and I also need paper, glue (胶水), a brush(刷子) and paints (绘画颜料). First, I glue the leaf onto the paper and wait for an hour. Then, I paint over the leaf and the paper and let the paints get dry(变干). Next, I take the leaf off the paper. There it is—a beautiful leaf picture on the paper!

I sometimes make birthday cards or other things with the leaf pictures. My friends like them very much. I tell them，"They are not just gifts from me. They're gifts from my grandmother's village！"

Hello, my name is Li Lin. You can call me Jack. I'm a 14yearold schoolboy. Now, I am studying at a school in the UK. Let me tell you about the fun things I do in this country. 

I like riding my bike in the UK. I can get anywhere on my bike in Cambridge. It's really fun. But riding a bike in the UK is different from that in China. 

First, you have to ride on the left of the road. In China, you ride on the right. When I go to the UK for the first time, I ride on the right of the road. Cars run fast by me. It is terrible(可怕的). 

Second, the UK bikes have lights on them. They have a white light at the front and a red one at the back. You can use them at night and early in the morning. 

Third, in China, bikes usually have a stand (支架). But you can't find them on most of the UK bikes. Why? You can't leave your bike where you want. You have to put it in a bike park. It's a good idea.
