[热点素材：北京中轴线主题地铁列车] A new subway shows in Beijing! It is themed on the Central Axis of Beijing（以北京中轴线为主题）. It runs on the line 8.

The subway train has pretty paintings on the outside and inside. Even the doors have paintings.The subway train runs 49km with 34 stations and runs from Feb 4, 2024 to Aug 4, 2024. Many of the stations are near famous places, like the Palace Museum and the Drum Tower. The subway company（公司）wants to make more themed trains. It wants to help people be interested in taking the subway and learning about our cultural heritage（文化遗产）. The new train also has QR codes（二维码）.People can learn more about the culture of Beijing by scanning（扫描） the code.

美丽的小店

The shop is on a quiet street. It's on the third floor. There is one room and a kitchen. The kitchen is small but very clean. The room is big and it has three tables and some chairs, so you can chat with your friends there. There is a big window in the room. The view(风景) from the window is great, and you can see the city lights at night and the sunrise(日出) in the morning. This shop is near a beautiful park. Behind the shop is a museum. This shop is a 5-minute walk from the train station(火车站) and a 20-minute drive from the London Eye.

Every year on 22nd April, over 192 countries celebrate (庆祝) Earth Day. It's an important day. It tells people to help our Earth. 

On Earth Day, many people in the US keep their cars at home and go to work by underground. Many children like wearing a blue and green T-shirt on that day. Blue and green clothing is like the blue sky and the green trees. 

The theme (主题) for Earth Day in 2024 will be the "Planet (星球) vs. Plastics". Many turtles, seabirds and dolphins get caught in plastic bags. They can't move and some of them even die! That's why people stop using plastic bags and bring their own shopping bags. Some people like drawing pictures on their own shopping bags. They want to tell more people to help our Earth. It is a good way, isn't it? Next Earth Day, will you join them together?

I am going to tell you something about my life in China. I study in Guangzhou. I live near the school. So I can go by bike. But I often go to school on foot. Because that's good exercise. My mother is an English teacher. My father works in a science museum. I have a new friend, Li Tiantian. He is in Beijing now. I am going to visit him this summer holiday and I'm going to the Palace Museum. I am going to fly there. What are you going to do this summer holiday?
