Dear Linda,
Thanks for your email. I'm very happy to know that you like seeing films, because I have the same hobby. Now I can't wait to tell you about a great film. It's Hachi: A Dog's Story. This film is a true story happened in Japan in 1935.
Parke saw a lost dog at the train station. He took the little dog back home and the dog with a new name "Hachi" became a member of the family. Parke took good care of Hachi and the little and weak dog grew into a big and strong one. Parke went to work by train. Hachi went to the train station with him every morning and waited for Parke to come back in the evening. Unluckily, Parke got sick and died. However, Hachi still waited at the station every day for the next 9 years until it finally died.
I love this moving film and I really hope you can enjoy it too. Please write back soon and tell me about your favorite film with me.
Yours,
Jack

An old tiger lives in the forest. He doesn't want to look for food. He often asks other animals to bring him something to eat. He sees a monkey and says, "I'm hungry, Monkey. Go to the village and bring me a fat pig." "Oh, Tiger," says the monkey. "I can't do that now. There is another tiger over there. He also wants a fat pig. He doesn't let me get anything for you to eat. I'm afraid of him." "What?" cries the old tiger. "Show me the tiger. I will talk to him." "Come with me," says the monkey, "Now look down at the river," says the monkey. "Can you see the head, the white teeth and the big green eyes of the tiger?" "Yes, I can," cries the old tiger. "I will eat him up." With these words, the tiger jumps into the water and dies(死亡).
