How to stay relaxed
Hello, everyone. I am very glad to be here with you. As we all know, being stressed out is not a good thing. Here are some tips to share with you.
①
Whenever you are in trouble, turn to your parents and friends for help. It's better to speak the worries out and get some advice from others. Sometimes you'll feel relaxed when you find that someone else has the same problems as you do.
②
If you find yourself stressed out, try to find a way to let the feelings out. Doing breathing exercises, listening to music, doing some sports and taking a walk may work. Or just shout it out if the other things don't help you feel better.
③
When you calm down, it's time to solve your problem. You should find out what the problem is and find a way to solve it. If you can't solve all of it at once, you may begin by solving part of it. When you don't know what to do with your problem, you may become stressed. But when you've found out what the problem is and have started solving it, you will find your stress gone.
④
Every coin has two sides. Looking at the dark side can make you stressed and it won't help solve your problem. So why not look at the bright side? You may find your problem not too hard to solve when you are less stressed out. And more ideas will come up to you when you are relaxed.
⑤
After you have solved the problem or part of the problem, buy yourself a gift, go and see your favorite movie or just hang out with your friends. You will enjoy the feeling of being relaxed.
I was walking home from school one day and it happened to be a very cold and windy day. It was 1 and I was crazy enough to forget my hats and scarf. You can imagine my face was rosy red and my hands were not able to feel anything.
All of a sudden an old lady drove up beside me and asked if I would like to give her a chance to drive me 2. At first I said it was not OK. But then her warm smile changed the thought that I didn't talk to 3! We had a pleasant chat and she was just a 4 woman. She told me her 5 and she dropped me off near my house.
I didn't see her for about a month and one night I decided to return the favor(帮忙). So, I made a lot of 6 and walked down to her house with my friend. At first I was a bit 7. Maybe she wouldn't remember me or think that I was a bad man who brought bad cookies, but, 8, I was wrong. She was so happy, and she hugged me and kissed me and seemed so 9that anyone would do something like that!
When I got home my mom told me that she 10 and told my mom that she cried because she was so touched. She said she would never 11 the kindness that was given to her! That filled me with such 12!
There really is nothing else like helping 13 and making someone's day 14!
Let us never forget the joy we get 15 giving others a hand or just the kindness.
Two girls are (lie) by the lake and talking about their childhood.
Dona: You know what? I used to have short straight hair. When my mum's friends saw me, they said, "Hey, what a lovely son you have!" Isn't that funny?
Cathy: Haha! Did you use to be as wild a boy?
Dona: Kind of. I used to play with boys a lot. You know, we used to live in the forest. I always went (hunt) with my dad. It was fun. Once I hunted for a whole day by (I). How brave I was! I also climbed up a very big tree. And my parents were so worried. But I thought I had so wonderful (experience).
Cathy: Cool. Well, you don't look like a boy now, .
Dona: No, I don't. I'm (much) like a girl now, with long curly hair, and I'm a little bit shy.
Cathy: So you are. Well, believe it or not, I used to be a very fat girl with a round face.
Dona: How come! You're so thin.
Cathy: Well, my mum said that I used to sleep a lot and eat lot. She said that I didn't like exercise.
Dona: No wonder you were so fat. Did you use to be very shy?
Cathy: Not really. But I used to be very quiet and I would spend the whole day reading in the room.
Dona: I could believe it. Now you even can't stay in the room for a whole morning. You like outdoor activities so much.
Cathy: That's for sure. I need exercise. I don't want to be fat as I used to be.
Dona: Me, . Shall we do some sports now?
Cathy: Sound like a good idea.
