I' m Sara. I' m a middle school student. At school, we have maths, English, Chinese, science, geography, history, art, PE and music.
My mother is a Chinese teacher and she says Chinese is important. I like Chinese. I always read Chinese books before I go to bed.
I also like history. It is my favourite subject. Mr Brown is great fun. In his history class, I can hear many interesting stories.
Mr Green is my maths teacher. He says maths is interesting, but I think it is boring (令人厌烦的). My science teacher, Mrs Smith, is nice. I listen to her carefully (认真的) in class I can't do well in the exam (考试) I think it is really difficult.
We always have art, PE or music in the afternoon. In PE class, I like to play table tennis with my teacher Mrs Miller. She plays very well.
New Year's Day is coming. The students in Class 8 are preparing for a New Year's party. Cindy and Mary are malting red paper birds They want to put them outside (在……外面) the classroom Lily and Alice are cleaning the desks and chairs They want a clean classroom. There are some pictures on the walls and there are also some beautiful flowers on the desks. Some boy students are learning taijiquan in the playground. They want to show (展示) it at the party. Where are Jack and Nancy? Oh, they are still in the shop. They are buying some food and drinks for the party. "We are very happy because we can have a big party," says Mike, the monitor (班长).
