We are forward to your parents again.
She heard a song feelings about returning home on the radio.
But in the West, we usually don't much that.
My best friend arrived the party began.
What he ?
John works in a big city. He likes traveling. When he is 1 vacation, he usually spends much time traveling here and there.
Last summer, the young man traveled in the countryside and he thought it was a 2 place. The air was fresh and the 3 were green. He liked the quiet country life, but he didn't like to 4 there. One afternoon, he was walking when it rained suddenly. He had to stay in a small hotel. The room was dark and the bed was 5. He could not fall asleep. So he sat on a chair. 6, he found a dead bedbug(臭虫) on the bed, so he called the owner in.
"Look at this," said John.
The owner had a look at it and said," But it 7 several days ago, you know."
John wouldn't quarrel(争吵) with him. He was so sleepy that he had to lie down, but soon he 8 He found a lot of bedbugs. The next morning he said to the owner, "I want to 9 you about the bedbugs."
"I know, sir," said the owner, "It was dead!"
"Perhaps you're 10. But his friends had a memorial meeting (追悼会) for him and after that they had supper here!"

Do you like traveling? Have you ever been to Japan, a beautiful country? In the country, you can travel by bus, by train or by subway. If you want to go faster, you may take a taxi. It's also convenient.
Here's how you can take the taxi in Japan
● From train stations or airports, go to the taxi stand (出租车车站) and wait there.
● In the street, look for a taxi that has a red light in the front window. It means the taxi has no passengers. If the light is green, the taxi has passengers.
● When you see an empty taxi, wave(挥动) your hand and call it.
● The back door opens automatically(自动地), so stand back and wait until the door opens.
● Get in the taxi and tell the driver where you want to go.
● Before you get out of the taxi, pay it.
● Wait until the door opens and get out of the taxi.

"Why does the chicken cross the road? To get to the other side!"
That's an old joke in the west, but it came to my mind again when I saw people crossing the road at the intersection of Shaanxi Road and Huaihai Road in Shanghai.
When the traffic light was red, a group of people were waiting for the light to change. Suddenly one man began rushing to the other side of the road. Soon others followed him at the crossing and more people did the same. Just like chickens, they didn't mind the honking horns(喇叭声) and kept crossing the road in a mess.
Every year several thousand people are either killed or hurt on the roads in Shanghai. And at least one third of them were jaywalking(乱穿马路). Jaywalking is very common in Shanghai. It seems that jaywalkers are not afraid of the danger to themselves.
Traffic laws are to keep people safe. So we should obey them, and have good road-crossing habits. When someone starts to jaywalk, we should stop him, and never follow him. That way we can avoid the traffic accidents.

There is a sign at a Korean university asking tourists not to step into the grass to take photos. The sign is not written in Korean or English; it is written in Chinese.
These signs, and signs in other countries warning Chinese tourists about their behavior, have shamed many Chinese who worry about the image of the country.
Over 70 million Chinese tourists made overseas trips last year and spent $102 billion, more than the $84 billion spent by American and German tourists. For many Chinese tourists, it was their first trip abroad and they didn't know about foreign ways. And some of these tourists took their bad habits from China with them.
Wang Yang, a Chinese deputy prime minister (国务院副总理), said, "They (the tourists) speak loudly in public, carve words or numbers on tourist attractions, cross the road when the traffic lights are still red and spit anywhere. It damages(毁坏) the image of the Chinese people and has a very bad influence."
Before you travel to a foreign country, it's important to learn some things about the country and its culture. You are guests in the country and it's important to respect(尊重) your hosts. As more and more Chinese visit foreign countries, their behavior will certainly change and those shameful signs will, hopefully, disappear.

More and more people like bicycling and it is no surprise. It is fun, healthy and good for the environment. Maybe that's why there are 1.4 billion bicycles and only 400 million ears on roads worldwide today. Bikes can take you almost anywhere, and there is no oil cost!
Get on a bicycle and ride around your neighbourhood. You may discover something new all around you. Stopping and getting off a bike is easier than stopping and getting out of your car. You can bike to work and benefit(受益) from the enjoyable exercise without polluting the environment. You don't even have to ride all the way.
Folding(折叠) bikes work well for people who ride the train. Just fold the bike and take it with you. You can do the same on an airplane. A folding bike can be packed in a suitcase. You can also take a common bike with you when you fly. But be sure to look for information by getting on airline websites. Not all airlines are bicycle-friendly to travelers.
Health Benefits of Bicycling:
It helps to prevent heart diseases.
Bicycling helps to control your weight.
A 15-minute bike ride to and from work three times a week burns off five kilos of fat in a year.
Bicycling can improve your mood(心情).
Exercise like bicycling has been shown to make people feel better, more relaxed and self-confident.
Bicycling is healthier than driving.
