Last week we visited a park in Hebei. We were 3 to find most of the trees had been burned. Four years ago when I was a boy of 11, I got into the biggest trouble as a kid. It was a Saturday morning. Both my parents were out, leaving me and my 10-month-old sister home alone. Anyway, my sister was still asleep in her room. In fact I had the house to myself. I decided to do some drawing. Soon I gave up. Nothing was on TV, so I felt bored and touched the candles on the shelf …I had an idea! What would happen if I set fire to some kitchen paper? Well, of course it went on fire, but it wasn't the tiny flame(火苗 ) I'd expected, and I couldn't blow it out. I threw it on the floor, and then luckily got my dad's boots(靴子) and stamped it out.
I thought I was safe until there was a huge hole in my room. When my mum came home later, she smelt the smoke immediately. She dropped the shopping bag, luckily for me, over the hole. I thought this meant she would never see it. However, after running round the house checking for a fire, she of course picked up the bag and saw the hole. Next I was grounded(关禁闭) and in trouble for months. Even worse, the hole was still there, reminding me of what I did.

In today's world, sleep experts say that for a better night's rest, Americans should turn off their smartphones or iPad before sleeping. Such electronic products make the brain more active, and then influence their sleep. But according to a latest survey, more than 90% of Americans regularly use a computer or some other kinds of electronic products in the hour before bed.
Researchers are finding that man-made light from some electronic products at night may reduce the brain chemicals(化学物质) that help sleep. The researchers showed that sitting in the light from computer tablets clearly lowered levels of the chemical which manages our body clocks and plays a role in the sleep cycle.
In the study, the researchers let volunteers read, play games and watch movies on a tablet for different time while measuring(测量) how much light their eyes received. They found that two hours of sitting before a bright tablet screen at night reduced the sleep chemical levels by about 22%.
Studies of students using computers at night have got the similar results. And researchers say that may not only cause sleeplessness, but also raise the risk of obesity(肥胖症), diabetes(糖尿病) and other diseases.
To be on the safe side, the researchers advise us to use computers less before bed, or at the very least turning down your screen as much as possible.

Your friend is not a true friend if he can never make time for you when you are in trouble. It's necessary for parents to teach kids how to cook from an early age. I believe you will with what I say. However, you also need to that part of teaching your kids how to cook is teaching them about the ingredients(材料).
One of the best ways you teach them about ingredients is to take them to go shopping with you. I know it won't always be to do so. Maybe you have to spend some money your crying kids the big model car, because you don't want people to look at you.
For one thing, it's great to let your kids see what food looks like in its state(状态). I don't mean seeing cows and chickens around (though that is good, too). I mean that they can see fruit, meat and vegetables before you them up or make them become dishes.
