My aunt, Jenny Lee lives in a town in Canada. She has a 1 face like the sun. Her favorite 2 is Hu Xinger. Now she's in the 3 Wonderful Friends (《奇妙的朋友》) with five other stars. They live and play with many kinds of 4 in the zoo in Guangzhou. These animals are very cute.
My aunt often tells stories about animals to her son. Today she wants to take him to the 5 to see animals. In the morning, Jenny gets up early and helps her son get dressed. They can 6 the subway to the zoo easily. Her son is only five years old, so he doesn't need to pay for the ticket(票). It's 7. At the zoo, they watch the monkeys 8 the trees. After lunch they enjoy drinking 9in the park. They like to spend time in the park. In the evening, they have dinner in a 10 and go home. The restaurant is near their house.
In April this year, lots of bags full of small change(零钱) were seen at bus stops in Tianjin. They were made for passengers to turn their notes into small change. And such an idea came from four students from Zhongbei Middle School, Tianjin.
"People will surely feel worried when they take a bus without coins. We just want to do something to help them," said Wang Yongcun, 15, one of the four students.
The four boys spent their whole weekend making the change bags. After that they went to see the number of the passengers at each bus stop near their school, and then chose the top six stops to put the bags.
Many people think that the four boys have really done a good job. But, things didn't go as the boys thought. Two days later, they found that the money was gone, and that even the bags were taken. It really made them sad but they would not give up. Their classmates and teachers came to help them in time. They put their pocket money in bags again. And the teachers also taught them to make better change bags. They tried their best to do it.
The four boys feel very happy because they have done something good for the passengers. Their warm hearts are moving. More and more people are beginning to join in the activity.
Look up in the sky. Do you see any clouds? What do they look like? Some clouds are fluffy(绒毛状的) and white, like cotton balls. Others are dark almost black, and make you hold an umbrella. At sunrise and sunset, clouds can look red, purple, or yellow—as if they were colored with crayons. But what are clouds anyway?
You can't reach out and touch the clouds, but you can make your own in a bottle.
You need
* an adult helper
* a huge, empty glass jar
* a metal strainer(过滤器)
* hot water
* ice
Do these
Step1. Have your helper fill the jar with hot water, leave it there for two minutes, then pour out most of the water. Leaving just an inch or two at the bottom of the jar.
Step2. It's your turn, put the strainer over the mouth of the jar, fill the strainer with ice. Watch the jar.
What happened?
A cloud formed in the jar! Some of the hot water at the bottom of the jar turned into hot water vapor(蒸汽). The water vapor rose and met with the cold air coming off the ice. When the water vapor condensed, it formed a cloud. Hot air rises and carries with it lots of water vapor, the higher the air rises, the more it cools down. Soon the cold air can't hold all the water vapor so it starts turning into tiny water drops, and becomes a cloud.
Animals grow up in different ways. They have lots of lessons to learn.
Some animals are born helpless but their mothers protect them. A newborn kangaroo is the size of a bee. She stays in her mother's safe pouch. She doesn't open her eyes for at least five months. A newborn monkey cannot walk. He is carried by his mother.
Other baby animals can walk soon after they're born. They learn to run with their mother when danger is near. A baby zebra(斑马) can run an hour after she is born.
Some baby animals are born in a place that is safe. Other baby animals are born in the open. Baby wolves are born in large holes. A baby elephant is born on open, grassy land. Other elephants make a circle(圈) to protect her.
Animals that drink their mothers' milk are called mammals. A mother bear's milk is fatty and rich. Baby bears need lots of fat to keep warm in winter. They have milk for six months. Baby zebras drink milk for six months or more! As baby animals grow they need solid(固体的) food. Baby lions eat what their mother can catch.

My hometown is a small village. In the north of the village, there is a big lake. It's not deep. There are many kinds of fish in it. When summer comes, children often go swimming in it. To the south of the lake, there are many bamboos. In the west, there are mountains. You can see a lot of green trees on the mountains. The trees give us a lot of wood and clean air. But there were not so many trees on the mountains ten years ago. The fields are all in the east of the village. We plant many kinds of vegetables and crops there. In the middle of the village there is an old tower. On the top of the tower, you can see the village, the mountains and the lake. My home is just behind it. The only road to our village is in the south. In my village there are no cars, no noise and no pollution. I like my hometown better than many big cities.
