Louis Cha (Chinese: Cha Leung Yung; 10 March 1924 - 30 October 2018), better known by his pen name Jin Yong, was a Chinese wuxia novelist and essayist, co-founded the Hong Kong daily newspaper Ming Bao in 1959 and served as first editor-in-chief. He (be) Hong Kong's most famous writer.

Jin Yong is named along with Gu Long and Liang Yusheng as the "Three Legs of the Tripod of Wuxia”.
