Mr. Green teaches English in a junior high school.<br />He likes his work very much.<br />There are six classes in grade seven at his school.<br />He teaches two of these six classes.<br />In his English class, Mr. Green sometimes teaches poems.<br />He likes poems very much, and he likes Walt Whitman's poems best of all.<br />One day in his English class, Mr. Green taught a poem.<br />He wrote the poem on the blackboard and read it.<br />As soon as he finished reading the poem, the students began to ask questions.<br />He answered all the questions.<br />Then he asked his students to talk about the poem.<br />No one wanted to stop when the bell rang.<br />On the way back home, Mr. Green thought about the class.<br />He was happy students likes the poem.<br />He did not have to make them learn.<br />He only had to answer their questions and help them understand the poem.<br />Lin Lee feels unhappy these days.<br />Her parents want her to study in America.<br />They think it will be easier for her to learn English there, and being in a foreign country<br />will open her eyes and her mind.<br />After finishing, she will have a good chance of finding a good job.<br />But Lin Lee doesn't quite agree with her parents.<br />First, she thinks she's too young to look after herself.<br />Secondly, she doesn't think it's necessary to learn English in an English-speaking country.<br />She's sure she can learn it well as long as she studies hard enough at school.<br />Besides, going abroad will be expensive.<br />She really doesn't know how to do.
