Look! Students are learning folk at school. They are a middle school in Nanshan. The school has offered folk art classes since 2016. It invites artists to teach students embroidery (刺绣)and pyrograph (烙画). Pyrograph is a kind of art in which the artist draws on pieces of wood or objects by using burn marks. Students use gourds (葫芦)for their pyrography classes. The classes can help students learn more about Chinese traditional folk art and pass on.
