Everyone knows that animals are our friends. I think it is good that many families keep animals pets. Unluckily, some people do not care for their pets. Some do not feed their pets enough so they easily become . Others do not give their pets a proper place to sleep. There are also people who actually /hɜːt/ their pets. I feel this is wrong. People should not treat (对待) their pets so (bad).
The government of the United Kingdom is thinking of ways to help /prə'tekt/ pets--it's about rule! It's making some rules about to take care of different kinds of animals. What's more, the rules would even /ɪk'spleɪn/ ways to keep animals happy! They will make sure all the pets can live a good life. That is some news for pets, don't you think?
The UK also wants to have special "pet police". They can go to (people) homes to check that they are caring for their pets properly, or they can take animals away.
I hope more people will now try to take (good) care of their pets than before. We should always keep in mind that animals are our friends and they should be loved the way they love us.
