World Sleeping Day is on 21 March, 2019 this year. It wants to tell us sleeping is important for our health. As students, we need to sleep well, because our bodies grow fast when we are sleeping. We can get our lessons better when we have a good sleep. Students about 13 years old need nine hours of sleep every night.
There is something you can do to have a good sleep.
Open your window a little to let fresh air in. Our bodies need much air when we are sleeping.
When we are in bed, we cannot cover our heads with quilts (被子). If we do, we will not get much fresh air.
Go to bed and get up at the same time every day. Early to bed, early to rise (起床).
Drink a glass of milk before sleeping.
Don't drink coffee in the evening.
Eating a big supper is not good for your sleep.
Don't put computers or TV in your bedroom. Say no to late-night television.
